Boot Camp: Set trackpad options
Depending on your trackpad, you’ll see only some of these configuration options.
- Click the Boot Camp icon
in the system tray, then choose Boot Camp Control Panel. - Click Trackpad.
- Select any of the following under One Finger:
Option Description Tap to Click: If you select this option, you can tap the trackpad to click. Dragging: If you select this option, you can move an item by tapping it, then immediately placing your finger on the trackpad and moving your finger. Drag Lock: If you select this option, when you drag an item, you can release it by tapping the trackpad. Secondary Click: If you select this option and choose a corner from the pop-up menu, you can perform a secondary click by placing one finger on the trackpad in the chosen corner and clicking. - Select the following under Two Finger:
Option Description Secondary Click: If you select this option, you can perform a secondary click by placing two fingers on the trackpad, then clicking. - Select the following under Palm Rejection:
Option Description Ignore accidental input when typing: If you select this option, the computer ignores the trackpad while you type.
