Numbers for iCloud beta: Organize and rename spreadsheets
In the spreadsheet manager, you can organize, sort, duplicate, rename, and delete your spreadsheets, and see your changes immediately from every device set up with iCloud.
You can also search for a spreadsheet by name using the Search field in the spreadsheet manager.
Organize spreadsheets into folders

To create a folder, select one or more spreadsheets in the spreadsheet manager, then drag them onto another spreadsheet.
Tip: To select multiple adjacent spreadsheets, Shift-click. To select multiple nonadjacent spreadsheets, Command-click (on a Mac), or Control-click (on a Windows computer). -
Do any of the following:

Rename the folder: Click the folder, click the folder’s name and type a new one, then press Return.

Add or remove spreadsheets from the folder: Drag a spreadsheet to the folder to add it, or drag a spreadsheet from the folder to the spreadsheet manager to remove it.

Open the folder to view its spreadsheets: Click the folder to open it, then click anywhere in the spreadsheet manager to close it.

To delete a folder, drag all of its spreadsheets to the spreadsheet manager.
Sort spreadsheets and folders by name or date
In the spreadsheet manager, choose an option from the Settings pop-up menu
in the toolbar:

Sort by Date: Displays the most recently created or edited item first.

Sort by Name: Displays items alphabetically.
Duplicate a spreadsheet

In the spreadsheet manager, select one or more spreadsheets.

On a Mac: Shift-click to select multiple adjacent spreadsheets, or Command-click to select multiple nonadjacent spreadsheets.

On a Windows computer: Shift-click to select multiple adjacent spreadsheets, or Control-click to select multiple nonadjacent spreadsheets.

Choose Duplicate Spreadsheet from the Settings pop-up menu
in the toolbar. The word copy is appended to the duplicated spreadsheet’s name.
Rename a spreadsheet
In the spreadsheet manager, click the spreadsheet’s name, type a new name, then press Return.
Delete a spreadsheet

In the spreadsheet manager, select one or more spreadsheets.

On a Mac: Shift-click to select multiple adjacent spreadsheets, or Command-click to select multiple nonadjacent spreadsheets.

On a Windows computer: Shift-click to select multiple adjacent spreadsheets, or Control-click to select multiple nonadjacent spreadsheets.

Press the Delete or Backspace key.

Click Delete.
