iTunes 11 for Windows: Connect a device

Connect your iPod, iPhone, or iPad to your computer

1. Using the cable that came with your device, connect the device to your computer.

2. If iTunes doesn’t open automatically, open it.

3. Click the Devices button near the top of the iTunes window.

   If you have more than one device connected, choose a device from the pop-up menu that appears.
