iCloud: Remove a shared album

Remove a shared album

You can remove a shared album you’re subscribed to by unsubscribing. When you unsubscribe from an album, it’s removed from all your devices.

You can remove a shared album you own by deleting it. When you delete your shared album, it’s removed from all your devices and the devices of all its subscribers.

Note: Shared albums are called shared streams on iOS 7 devices.

On your iOS 9 or iOS 8 device

  1. In the Photos app, tap Shared at the bottom of the screen, then tap Sharing at the top of the screen.

  2. Tap the shared album you want to remove, tap People, then tap Unsubscribe (if you’re a subscriber) or Delete Shared Album (if you’re the owner).

You can also tap Shared, tap Edit, tap the Remove button on the left side of the shared album you want to remove, then tap Unsubscribe (if you’re a subscriber) or Delete (if you’re the owner).
