Notes: View notes

View notes or keep a note on your desktop. Your notes are listed in the sidebar, with the most recently modified note at the top of the list.

You can easily view notes, keep a note handy on your desktop, or resize the sidebar.

Option	Description
Display a note:	Select the note in the sidebar.
Open a note in a separate window:	Double-click the note in the sidebar.
Float a note on the desktop:	Select a note in a separate window, and then choose Window > Float On Top. You can drag the note around on the desktop by the title or by the bottom. The note remains on top of other windows on your desktop until you close the note or quit Notes.
Change the width of the sidebar:	Drag the edge of the sidebar to the left or the right.

If you have more than one account with notes, you can show the folders list and then view notes from all folders or a specific folder.

Use folders
