Calendar: Share iCloud calendars
You can share iCloud calendars with people who also have iCloud accounts.
To start sharing calendars, first set up your iCloud Calendar account.

Share a calendar
You can give people read-only or read-and-write privileges to shared calendars. They can access your calendars using Calendar (on a Mac with OS X Mountain Lion, iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch), iCloud Calendar at www.icloud.com, iCal (on a Mac with OS X Lion 10.7.2 or later), and Microsoft Outlook.
- In Calendar, click the name of the calendar, and then choose Edit > Share Calendar.
If you don’t see your calendars, click Calendars.
- Edit sharing options.
Enter a name for the calendar in the “Share calendar as” field. Changing the name doesn’t change the name in Calendar.
Select how you want to share the calendar.
If you select “Only the people you invite,” you can specify people to share the calendar. Click Add (+), type a person’s email address, and then select read-only access or read-and-write access in the Privilege column. To invite another person, click Add again.
If you select Everyone, anyone with the URL can subscribe to the calendar. To see the calendar’s URL, click Calendars, hold down the Control key, click the name of the calendar, and then choose Get Info.
- Click Share.
A broadcast icon appears beside the shared calendar.
