Invite others to a Calenar event

You can invite others to events using their email addresses.

  1. In Calendar, double-click the event, and then click Edit.
  2. Click Add Invitees and type a person’s email address.
    • If you’re inviting someone whose contact information is stored in Contacts or on the same server (for example, through your workplace), you can start typing the person’s name and Calendar provides a list of matching contacts.

    • You can also use the Address panel to add invitees. To open the panel, choose Window > Address Panel. For more information, see this help topic:

  3. To invite more people, press Return (or add a comma) after each email address.
  4. When you’re ready to invite the guests, click Send.

To remove a person from an event, select the email address and press the Delete key.
