Calendar: Invite others to an event
You can invite others to events using their email addresses.
- In Calendar, double-click the event, and then click Edit.
- Click Add Invitees and type a person’s email address.
If you’re inviting someone whose contact information is stored in Contacts or on the same server (for example, through your workplace), you can start typing the person’s name and Calendar provides a list of matching contacts.
You can also use the Address panel to add invitees. To open the panel, choose Window > Address Panel. For more information, see this help topic:
- To invite more people, press Return (or add a comma) after each email address.
- When you’re ready to invite the guests, click Send.
To remove a person from an event, select the email address and press the Delete key.
