There are several ways to transfer files or folders from a Windows computer to a Mac.
- Use Migration Assistant.
- Copy the item to an intermediary location such as an external disk, thumb drive, or remote server, and then connect the disk, drive, or server to the Mac.
- Burn the item to a CD or DVD, and then insert the disc into the optical drive on the Mac.
- Connect the Windows computer and your Mac to the same wired or wireless network.
- If your Windows computer has an Ethernet port, directly connect the two computers using an Ethernet cable.
