OS X Mountain Lion: Switch from one language to another
If you regularly type in more than one language on your computer, you can quickly switch between languages by using the Input menu in the menu bar or using keyboard shortcuts.
Switch using the Input menu
- Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Language & Text, and then click Input Sources.
- Select the checkbox for each input source (language) you want to use.
- Select the “Show Input menu in menu bar” checkbox.
The Input menu (looks like a flag or character) appears in the menu bar.
- Choose the input source you want to use from the Input menu.
