Apple Store 4+

I am new to iPhone. Everything in this phone is oriented at the idea of my opening my wallet. Only when there is no other choice, inquiries about my needs are made.
For example, when one buys these phone there is an avalanche of apps, widgets and sales ads everywhere. So the user finds itself with a phone in his hands with no idea on how to make a call.
After much embarrassing and asking strangers, the user proceeds to get rid of all garbage apps. Then it finds that the text messaging app is nowhere to be found. But it had to be somewhere, when buying the phone the clerk at the store used it! So now the user goes to the App Store to reload the message app that came with the phone. And so where is it?

When I selected a MacBook Pro from the Apple Store app, two delivery choices were listed: pick up today at any of the three Dallas stores, or free delivery to my residence tomorrow. I elected to take the home delivery since the Mac would arrive the next day and I could avoid the 45 minute drive through Dallas traffic. So the next day comes, but the order status now says it will arrive 5 days later. I tried to get a rep to redirect the order to store pickup, but was told they can’t do that. Status said it hadn’t shipped, but the rep claims they can’t change it. I opted to order, rather than pick up the Mac, because of the next day delivery offer but would have fought the traffic if I had known I really had to wait 5 days. I'm looking at the Apple Store app right now, and it still says free next day delivery.

My son had bought a brand new phone from working at the library. It was an iPhone XR. A year later right after the warranty expired his Face ID feature didn’t work anymore. We called customer service and we were put on hold and were talking to many different people for hours trying to figure out the issue until the Apple “Senior Advisor” called it a hardware malfunction. She said that it won’t get fixed and that we would have to pay $399 dollars for a replacement. Is this some kind of joke. Or even better a pyramid scheme that as soon as the warranty runs out let’s destroy an innocent kids phone so that the kids parents will buy him the new phone. DON’T EVER BUT FROM APPLE!! It’s nothing but a scam. I was disappointed especially because this wasn’t my first Apple product but my sons first Apple product.
