Watch on PlayStation
It’s easy to set up the Apple TV app and start watching on your PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4. Once you open the app from the Media Hub on your PS5 or from the TV & Video section on your PS4, you can explore Apple TV+; browse movies, TV shows, and Apple TV channels; or watch free episodes.
When you’re ready to start watching, you just need an Apple ID to sign in. Afterward, you can subscribe to channels, purchase or rent movies, or purchase TV shows.
How to watch on PS5 or PS4
You can find the Apple TV app in the Media Hub on PS5 or in the TV & Video section on PS4. If you don’t see the Apple TV app, contact the manufacturer for assistance in updating your console’s software. For a list of specific models that support the Apple TV app, go to apple.com/apple-tv-app/devices/.
Depending on your device, do either of the following:
On PS5: Navigate to the Media Hub, then select the Apple TV app
in the apps row to open it.On PS4: Navigate to TV & Video, then select the Apple TV app
in the apps row to open it.
Note: You may experience a slight delay while the app downloads if it hasn’t been opened before.
On the Watch Now screen, scroll down to view Apple TV+, Apple TV channels, or featured movies and TV shows, then select an item.
Do any of the following:
Play the item or open it in a channel: Select Play or Open In. If you haven’t subscribed to the channel, follow the onscreen instructions.
Subscribe to Apple TV+: Select “Try It Free,” then follow the onscreen instructions to confirm your subscription.
Subscribe to an Apple TV channel: Select “Try [channel] Free” and follow the onscreen instructions.
Buy or rent a movie: Select Buy or Rent, then select the option you want and confirm your purchase or rental.
Buy a TV show episode or season: Select Buy, then select the option you want and confirm your purchase.

If the Apple TV app isn’t available on your PlayStation, you can optionally share your screen from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or other device to your television with AirPlay 2.
