The row of menus and controls at the top of the screen on a Mac. You use the menus and icons in the menu bar to choose commands, perform tasks, and check status. The left side of the menu bar contains the Apple menu and app menus. The right side of the menu bar can contain status menus, such as Wi-Fi and Siri .

When you open the Shazam app on Mac, its icon appears on the right side of the menu bar.
