Generate custom shapes in Pixelmator Pro on iPad

You can use generative AI to create a custom shape from a text description.*

Available with subscription: This feature requires a subscription to Apple Creator Studio. To learn more, see the Apple Creator Studio webpage and the Apple Support article About Apple Creator Studio.

In Pixelmator Pro on iPad, tap in the toolbar, then choose Generate Shape.
Type a description of the shape you want to create in the text field, then tap .
Multiple shape options based on your description are generated and automatically saved in the shapes browser.
In the Generate a Shape dialog, do one of the following:
- Select a shape: Select the shape to add it to the new layer.
- Try new variations: Tap to generate new shape options, or edit your text description and try again.

Important: Shape Generation is subject to usage limitations. To check your usage status, swipe down from the top of the screen to show the menu bar, choose Pixelmator Pro > Intelligence Features > Show Usage Status.
