On an iOS device, you can create an inline drawing in a note using your finger or Apple Pencil. Inline drawings don’t appear in the Attachments Browser like sketches do, but are perfect for capturing handwritten notes, which you can search for just like any other text. Inline drawings are visible on all your devices where you use Notes; however, you can’t open them in Preview or change how large they appear.
