Subscribe to a playlist in Music on Mac
When you join Apple Music, you can subscribe to playlists created by any Apple Music contributor. When the owner updates the playlist, it’s updated in your library.
In the Music app
on your Mac, do any of the following to look for a playlist:
View recommendations tailored for you: Click Listen Now in the sidebar on the left, then find music you recently played, personal mixes created for you, genres you might like, and more.
See what’s new in Apple Music: Click Browse in the sidebar on the left, then find music by mood, new music, charts, and more.
Search the Apple Music catalog: See Search for music.
Select a playlist you want to subscribe to, click the More button
next to it, then choose Add to Library.
If you don’t see this button, either you’re not signed in to Apple Music using your Apple ID, you haven’t joined Apple Music, or the Sync Library option is not selected in Music preferences: Choose Music > Preferences, click General, make sure Sync Library is selected, then click OK.
Your subscribed playlists appear under Playlists in the sidebar on the left.
