USB 3 or Thunderbolt 5 ports

Your Mac Studio has two ports on the front. On Mac Studio with M5 Max, these ports are USB 3. On Mac Studio with M5 Ultra, these ports are Thunderbolt 5.

Use a USB-C cable to connect and charge all your favorite accessories—including a keyboard, mouse, and external storage device. On Mac Studio with M5 Ultra you can also use a Thunderbolt cable and connect a display to these ports.
