Personalize your iPad
Set up iPad to reflect your personal style and workflow. You can customize the wallpaper, add widgets to the Home Screen, create your own Memoji, and set aside time to focus when you need to concentrate.
Change the wallpaper
Set the background of your Home Screen and Lock Screen to display a favorite photo from your photo library. Go to Settings > Wallpaper, then tap Choose a New Wallpaper. Tap an album, then select a photo. Drag the photo to move it around, or pinch to zoom in or out. When you’ve got it looking just right, tap Set.
Add widgets
Add widgets to your Home Screen to see important information at a glance. Touch and hold the Home Screen until the apps jiggle, then tap 
. Not sure what to add? Try a Smart Stack—a collection of widgets that displays the right widget on your Home Screen based on factors like your location, current activity, or the time.
Build your own Memoji
Create a Memoji that reflects your personality and style. You can use your Memoji as your contact image in apps, as stickers in Messages and in Mail, and as an animation that mirrors your facial expressions in FaceTime (on supported models). To get started, open the Messages app, tap Edit, then tap Edit Name and Photo.
Make time to focus
Focus helps you stay in the moment when you need to concentrate or step away from your iPad. Pick from a list of provided Focus options such as Gaming or Reading, or create your own. When you set a Focus, your status is displayed in the Messages app to let others know you’re busy. To get started, go to Settings > Focus.
