Set up a Siri-enabled accessory
You can extend access to HomePod throughout your home by enabling Siri on compatible smart home accessories. Siri can be enabled on these accessories so you can control them with your voice, get help with everyday questions or tasks, and play your favorite music and podcasts.
Note: Music and podcast playback on Siri-enabled accessories is currently a beta feature.
HomePod must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network in order to access Siri from the accessory. Personal content requests also require your iPhone or iPad to be on the same Wi-Fi network.
Siri cannot be enabled on an accessory if another intelligent assistant is already enabled on that device.
