Share your Apple Business access with a third-party partner
You may want to delegate management of your brands, brand features, and locations to a third-party partner in Apple Business. This allows you to focus on your organization and lets the third-party partner manage your content.
If you do choose to allow a third-party partner to manage your content, that content is subject to the same policies as if you had created it.
The third-party partner needs to have an Apple Business account and be verified by Apple. To get a third-party partner started, send them this link: Register your third-party partner or agency.
There are two methods to share your content with a third-party partner:
OAuth
Organization ID
Both methods give you control over which brand features and brands you delegate to third-party partners. Not all third-party partners support OAuth delegation.
The brand features that can be delegated are shown in following table.
Feature | Dependent feature | Brand selection options | Third-party partner brand permissions | Third-party partner feature permission |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Brand profiles | None | All current and future brands | Create and edit a brand | None |
Brand profiles | None | Specific brands | Edit a brand | None |
Locations | Brand profiles | All current and future brands | Create and edit a brand | Manage locations |
Locations | None | Specific brands | Edit a brand | Manage locations |
Note: Brand features that aren’t listed are unable to be delegated at this time.
