
View activity in Apple Business Essentials
In Apple Business Essentials, you can view activity and status messages no matter where the activity originates. If you’re using an external device management service, you can view the following activities. It’s important that you know how to view all activity, regardless of where it originates.
View an activity
- In Apple Business Essentials, sign in with a user who has privileges to view activities. 
- Select Activity  in the sidebar, then select or search for a selected type of activity in the search field. See How to search. in the sidebar, then select or search for a selected type of activity in the search field. See How to search.
- Select an activity to view the information and download the log file to your device for more information. 
Note: Some activities or status messages can be viewed only by managers with the correct privileges.
You can view the following activities. They’re categorized by activity name, activity status, and date of activity event.
Activity name
You can select all that apply:
- Email new sign-ins 
- Create new sign-ins 
- Update Managed Apple Accounts 
- Edit Managed Apple Accounts 
- Assign roles 
- Delete accounts 
- Deactivate accounts 
- Reactivate accounts 
- Assign devices 
- Unassign devices 
- Release devices 
- Unassign and delete server 
- Reassign and delete server 
- Accounts federated 
- Federation disabled 
- Domain collision scan 
- Disconnect from source 
- SCIM Accounts Provisioned 
- SCIM Accounts Deprovisioned 
- Sync SCIM Accounts 
- Create new verification codes 
- Email new verification codes 
Activity status
You can select all that apply:
- In-progress 
- Successfully completed 
- Completed with issues 
- Completed with server errors 
- Manually stopped 
Date of activity event
Select only one:
- Within last hour 
- Within last 24 hours 
- Within last 7 days 
- Within last 30 days
