The shortcut bar appears on iPad above the keyboard when predictive text is turned on. You can show or hide the shortcut bar.

Buttons on the shortcut bar in Numbers let you cut, copy, paste and duplicate text. You can also add bold, italic and an underline to text.

If you can’t see the shortcut bar, swipe up on the white handle above the centre of the keyboard. If you still can’t see it, predictive text may be turned off for the keyboard.
