Buy and download audiobooks
To browse audiobooks, open the Apple Books app and tap the Audiobooks tab at the bottom of the screen. Explore new, featured, and trending audiobooks, or tap at the top of the screen to see all genres and book store sections. Tap Great Narrators to browse for books with your favorite narrator, celebrity narrators, or full-cast dramatizations. You can also tap the Search tab at the bottom of the screen to find specific audiobooks.
When you find an audiobook that you're interested in, you can listen to a sample. Tap an audiobook, then tap .
To purchase an audiobook, tap it, then tap Buy. To see all of your audiobooks, tap the Library tab. Learn more about how to manage your library.
If you purchased an audiobook but it looks like you haven’t bought it in the Book Store, you can find and redownload the audiobook in your previous purchases.
Listen to audiobooks
In the Books app, tap the Library tab, then tap the audiobook that you want to listen to. You can control the volume, pause your audiobook, or fast-forward through the current track. Tap to skip forward 15 seconds or to skip backward. Tap to change the playback speed. To change tracks, tap in the upper-right corner, then choose the track that you want to listen to.
If you want the audiobook to stop playing after a certain amount of time, tap to set a sleep timer.

- Some audiobooks are sold with supplemental PDFs called digital booklets. To see the PDF for an audiobook that you purchased, open iTunes and choose Audiobooks. Click Purchased, then double-click the digital booklet.
