Find out what to do if you're asked to buy a film or TV programme that you've already purchased in the Apple TV app.
How to watch a purchased item if you're being asked to buy it again
In iOS and iPadOS 18.0 and visionOS 2.0, you might be asked to buy a film or TV programme in your Library that you've already purchased. If you see the Buy button, you can play your film or TV programme without purchasing it again.
On your iPhone or iPad
Open the Apple TV app.
Tap Library.
Find the film or TV programme that you'd like to watch.
Tap the More button
.Tap Play.
On your Apple Vision Pro
Open the Apple TV app.
In the sidebar, tap Library.
Find the film or TV programme that you'd like to watch.
Pinch and hold the item to see more options, then tap Play.
