Devices you can use with Apple Fitness+
With a subscription to Apple Fitness+, you can start workouts and meditations on any of these supported devices.
What you need
To use Apple Fitness+, all you need is your iPhone and a subscription. In addition to your iPhone, you can also use an iPad or Apple TV. When you use Apple Fitness+ with an Apple Watch, AirPods Pro 3, Powerbeats Pro 2 or a supported bluetooth-enabled third-party heart rate monitor, you see your metrics on screen. To get the most out of Apple Fitness+, make sure you update to the latest version of the software on your supported device or devices.

iPhone only
iPhone 8 or later with iOS 16.1 or later.

iPad
- iPad Pro

Apple Fitness+ is available in the App Store if:
- Your iPad can update to iPadOS 16.1 or later and you have an iPhone signed in to the same Apple Account. 
- Your eligible iPad can't update to iPadOS 16.1, but you have an Apple Watch Series 3 or later signed in to the same Apple Account. 
Apple TV
Apple Fitness+ is available on the following Apple TV models that have been updated to the latest version of tvOS:
- Apple TV 4K 
- Apple TV HD 
iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV and AirPods Pro 3 or Powerbeats Pro 2
You can pair AirPods Pro 3, Powerbeats Pro 2 or a supported bluetooth-enabled third-party heart rate monitor with the following devices and see your metrics on screen when you're working out:
- Any iPhone with iOS 26 or later 
- Any iPad with iPadOS 26 or later 
- Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD with tvOS 26 or later 
AirPlay to Mac and AirPlay-enabled devices
You can use AirPlay to stream Apple Fitness+ workouts on the following AirPlay-enabled devices and TVs:
- AirPlay-compatible smart TVs with the label “Works with Apple AirPlay” 
- MacBook Pro (2018 and later) 
- MacBook Air (2018 and later) 
- iMac (2019 and later) 
- iMac Pro 
- Mac mini (2020 and later) 
- Mac Pro 
If you're streaming to a Mac, update to the latest version of macOS. On-screen workout metrics are only available on some AirPlay-compatible smart TVs. Metrics, such as timers, heart rate and Activity Ring celebrations are still available on your Apple Watch.
