How to erase an eSIM on your iPhone or iPad
If you transferred an eSIM's data plan or phone number to another device, erase the eSIM. Also, if you are going to sell, trade in, or give away your device, erase the eSIM.
Don't erase an eSIM as a troubleshooting step unless directed to by your network provider.
If you erase an eSIM, you'll need to contact your network provider to get a new one. Then set up the new eSIM.
If you want to cancel your mobile plan, contact your network provider.
Erase an eSIM on your iPhone
Open the Settings app.
Tap Mobile Service.
If you have a single plan, tap Delete eSIM.
If you have multiple plans, tap the plan you want to erase. Then tap Delete Plan.
Erase an eSIM on your iPad
Open the Settings app.
Tap Mobile Data.
If you have a single plan, tap Delete eSIM.
If you have multiple plans, tap the plan you want to erase. Then tap Delete Plan.
If you erase content and settings from your iPhone or iPad, you can choose to erase your eSIM or keep it.
If you erase an eSIM on a device using iPhone Handoff
If you erase an eSIM that is set up on a device using iPhone Handoff, you must contact your network provider to turn off iPhone Handoff for that eSIM. Your network provider may continue to charge you until you request them to turn off the service.
