Redownload apps and games for your Apple devices from the App Store

You can redownload apps previously purchased by you or your family members in the App Store.

How to re-download apps on iPhone or iPad

1. Open the App Store app.

2. Tap the Sign-in button or your photo at the top of the screen.

3. Tap Purchased.

4. If you use Family Sharing, tap My Purchases or choose a family member’s name to see content that they purchased.

5. Tap "Not on this [device]".

6. Find the app that you want to download, then tap the Download button.

Find out what to do if you can't redownload the app. If you can’t find the app on your device, use the App Library to find the app.

How to re-download apps on Mac

1. Open the App Store on your Mac.

2. Click your name in the sidebar, then find the app you want to download. If you can’t see your name in the sidebar, click Sign In, sign in with your Apple ID, then click your photo in the sidebar.

3. If you use Family Sharing, you can see a family member's purchases when you go to Purchased by and choose their name.

4. Click the Download button for the app.

How to re-download apps on Apple TV

1. From the Home Screen, choose App Store.

2. Choose Purchased.

3. If you use Family Sharing, you can select a family member's name to see their purchases.

4. Select Not on This TV.

5. Find and select the app that you want to redownload.

6. Select the Download button.

You can't re-download apps on Apple TV (3rd generation or earlier).

How to re-download apps on Apple Watch

1. Open the App Store on your Apple Watch.

2. Scroll all the way down to the bottom, tap Account, then tap Purchased.

3. If you use Family Sharing, tap My Purchases or choose a family member’s name to see content that they purchased.

4. Find the app that you want to download, then tap the Download button.

How to redownload apps on Apple Vision Pro

1. Open the App Store on your Apple Vision Pro.

2. Tap Account or your photo, then tap Purchased.

3. If you use Family Sharing, tap My Purchases or choose a family member’s name to see content that they purchased.

4. Select Apple Vision Apps or iPhone & iPad Apps.

5. Find the app that you want to download, then tap the Download button.

• Some apps aren't available on all devices. For example, an app that you bought on your iPhone may not have a version for Mac.

• Games that you play with an Apple Arcade subscription don't appear in your purchases. To re-download a game from Apple Arcade, search for the game and download it again.

• You can't redownload in-app purchases, but you can restore some in-app purchases.
