Export and import reminders on Mac
You can export reminders to move them to another computer, for example. You can also import reminders from an ICS file into an existing reminder list.
Export selected reminders
In the Reminders app
on your Mac, select reminders, then drag them to the desktop.The reminders are exported to an ICS file.
Export a reminder list
In the Reminders app
on your Mac, select a reminder list in the sidebar, or Command-click to select multiple lists.If the sidebar isn’t showing, choose View > Show Sidebar.
Choose File > Export.
Enter a name, choose a location, then click Export.
The lists are exported to an ICS file.
Import reminders
In the Reminders app
on your Mac, do one of the following:Choose File > Import, locate the ICS file, then click Import.
Drag the ICS file to the Reminders icon in the Dock.
If you have multiple reminder lists, choose the one where you want to add the reminders, then click OK.
