Playhead

The playhead is the vertical line showing the current playback position in a project. It extends from the top to the bottom of the Tracks area and other time-based windows (such as the Audio Track Editor, Piano Roll Editor, and Score Editor), and moves as the project plays.

You can grab the triangle at the top of the playhead and drag to move the playhead to a different time position. You can also quickly audition, or scrub, part of a project by moving the playhead across the Tracks area or editor.
