Use Connect in Apple Music

Follow your favorite artists in Connect to view any updates that they share.

     

Follow an artist

Find the artist that you want to follow and go the artist's page. Then follow these steps:

  • On an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Tap , and then tap "Follow on Connect follow on Connect ."
  • On a Mac or PC: Click , then select Follow.
  • On an Android phone: Tap , then tap " follow on Connect Follow on Connect."

After you follow an artist, any new posts that they make automatically add to your Connect Posts. Find Connect Posts at the bottom of the For You tab in the Music app or in the Connect tab of For You in iTunes.

You can follow an artist even if you don't have their music in your library.

Manage the artists that you follow

If you want to see who you follow or unfollow artists, follow these steps:

  • On an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: On the For You tab, tap account icon or your photo in the upper-right corner, then scroll to the bottom of your profile page and tap View Account > "Find More Artists and Curators." If you haven’t set up an Apple Music profile, just tap "Find More Artists and Curators." If you want to stop following an artist, tap unfollow on Connect to the right of the artist's name.
  • On a Mac or PC: On the For You tab, click  or your photo in the upper-right corner, then click Following. If you want to stop following an artist, click  under their name.
  • On an Android phone: Find the artist that you want to unfollow. On their information page, tap  , then "unfollow on Connect Unfollow on Connect."

Stop automatically following artists

To stop automatically following artists when you add their songs to your music library, follow these steps on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Tap For You, then tap account icon or your photo. Scroll to the bottom of your profile page and tap View Account > "Find More Artists and Curators." If you haven’t set up an Apple Music profile, just tap "Find More Artists and Curators." Then turn off Automatically Follow Artists.
