If you see 'Unable to create puppet' when you try to mount a SAN volume
Learn what to do if you try to mount an Xsan or StorNext SAN volume and get an error message.
If you try to mount an Xsan or StorNext SAN volume at the same time cvfsck is checking a different SAN volume, it might fail to mount. If the volume fails to mount, you'll receive the following error message:
# xsanctl mount VolumeName
mount command failed: Unable to create puppet for volume `VolumeName' (error code: 2)
To mount your volume, cancel cvfsck, or wait for it to finish.
