Status lights appear on the top of HomePod mini and change colors depending on what you're doing on HomePod mini. Here's what you might see:
White spinning light
HomePod mini is turning on or updating the software.
White pulsing light
HomePod mini is playing audio.
Multicolored spinning light
Siri is listening.
Green pulsing light
You transferred a phone call to HomePod mini.
Orange flashing light
HomePod mini is connected to a computer, or is plugged into a power adapter that didn’t come with HomePod mini and isn’t rated 20W (9V ⎓ 2.22A).
White flashing volume lights
Unplug HomePod mini from power, wait 15 seconds, then plug it back in. If the white flashing volume lights continue, reset and restore your HomePod mini. If these steps don't resolve your issue, contact Apple support to set up a repair.
