Removal
Lay the housing flat in the VESA support foam with the logic board facing up and closest to you.
Use the 1.2–3 Nm adjustable torque driver and 10IP bit to loosen the seven 10IP screws in the order shown.
Caution: Don't remove the screws yet.
Use the 1.2–3 Nm adjustable torque driver and 10IP bit to remove the seven 10IP screws (923-12081) in the order shown.
Caution: The screws are installed at a high torque value. To avoid stripping the screwhead, ensure that the 10IP bit is fully inserted into the screwhead. Hold the adjustable torque driver and 10IP bit perpendicular to the housing and push down firmly when removing the screws.
Lift the computer off the support stand.
Note: The VESA mount and VESA flange will remain in the VESA support foam.
Reassembly
Note: If you're swapping a VESA mount adapter for a stand, follow the reassembly steps in the stand repair procedure.

Install the flange over the alignment pins and onto the VESA mount adapter.
Lift the housing over the VESA mount adapter. Then align the housing so the outer screw holes line up with the alignment pins.
Then lower the housing onto the alignment pins.
Use the 1.2–3 Nm adjustable torque driver and 10IP bit to partially reinstall five 10IP screws (923-12081) in the order shown.
Rotate the alignment pins counterclockwise and pull them to remove them from the housing.
