Compatible LUN sector sizes in Xsan
Xsan supports a LUN sector size of 512 bytes per sector.
Data loss might occur if Xsan clients with macOS High Sierra and earlier access Xsan or StorNext volumes that contain LUNs with sector sizes other than 512 bytes.
When configuring new LUNs for use in Xsan or StorNext volumes, use a sector size of 512 bytes per sector.
If your client uses macOS Mojave 10.14.6 or later, you can mount an Xsan or StorNext volume that uses disks with sector sizes other than 512 bytes.
