Use VoiceOver to navigate Notification Center on Mac
Use Notification Center to catch up on notifications you missed and use widgets to view appointments, birthdays, the weather, top headlines, and more right from the desktop.
Note: VO represents the VoiceOver modifier. See Use the VoiceOver modifier.
Open and close Notification Center
Press VO-O.
In Keyboard preferences, you can create your own keyboard shortcut to open Notification Center. See Use macOS keyboard shortcuts.
Navigate notifications in Notification Center
Pending notifications are located at the top of Notification Center. When a notification is in the VoiceOver cursor, VoiceOver announces the available actions you can take, such as Snooze, Reply, Remind Me Tomorrow, or Close.
To open the Actions menu for a notification, press VO-Command-Space bar.
Navigate the list of actions by pressing VO-Down Arrow or VO-Up Arrow until you hear the action you want to take.
To select an action, press VO-Space bar.
Navigate widgets in Notification Center
To move between widgets in the widget grid, press VO-Shift-Down Arrow to interact with the widget grid, then press VO and an arrow key.
To read a widget, press VO-Shift-Down Arrow to start interacting with the widget, then press VO and an arrow key to navigate the widget. When you’re done, press VO-Shift-Up Arrow to stop interacting with the widget.
