Control autoplay for videos and sound in the Apple TV app
You can choose whether to start the next episode or play recommended content automatically in the Apple TV app. You can also turn the sound on or off for background videos, preview, or trailers that autoplay anywhere in the Apple TV app.
Go to the Apple TV app
on your smart TV, streaming device, gaming console, cable, or satellite service.Open the sidebar, then select Settings.
Do any of the following:
Play the next episode automatically: Turn Play Next Episode on or off.
Play recommended content automatically after watching a series, movie, or sporting event: Turn Play a Recommendation on or off.
Turn the sound on or off for videos that autoplay: Turn Autoplay Video Sound on or off.
