Terminal Keyboard preferences

Use Keyboard preferences in Terminal to set the keyboard behavior for a window profile. To open this pane, choose Terminal > Preferences, click Profiles, then click Keyboard.

You can create a new profile or modify an existing profile.

Open Terminal for me

Key list				To modify a key, select it, click Edit, change the key settings, then click OK.
Add button				To create a new key, click the Add button under the function key list.
Remove button				To remove a key, select a key in the list, then click the Remove button under the function key list.
Use Option as Meta key				To have the Option key on the keyboard act as a meta key, select “Use option as meta key.” This is useful for computers running X11 and for some text editors.
Scroll alternate screen				To enable alternate screen scrolling, select “Scroll alternate screen.”
