Download a spreadsheet in Numbers for iCloud
You can download a spreadsheet from Numbers for iCloud to your computer in Numbers, PDF, Microsoft Excel, or CSV format. This is useful when you need to open a spreadsheet with another application or send it to people who use different software.
Note: If you choose CSV, each sheet is downloaded as a separate CSV file.
Do one of the following:
With the spreadsheet open: Click the More button in the toolbar, choose Download a Copy, then select a format. Or, if you’re working with a shared spreadsheet set to View Only, click the Download button in the toolbar.
In the spreadsheet manager: Select the spreadsheet, click the More button , choose Download a Copy, then choose a format.
Note: If the spreadsheet is password protected, you can only download with the spreadsheet open, as described in the first bullet above.
The spreadsheet is downloaded to the location set in your browser’s settings. For example, to see or change the download location for Safari on a Mac, choose Safari > Settings (on macOS Ventura 13 or later) or Safari > Preferences (on macOS 12 or earlier), click General, then look for the “File download location” pop-up menu.
