Error messages appear when you access MobileMe

When using your MobileMe account, you encounter various error messages and alerts.

Because MobileMe has ended (as of June 30, 2012), this is expected behavior.

Here are the most common messages you may encounter:

In the MobileMe Preferences Pane Unknown validation error: Your MobileMe member name or password may be invalid. Please enter a different name or password.
In the MobileMe Control Panel Error: Unable to connect to MobileMe. Please try again later.
In the Mail App on a Mac The MobileMe IMAP server "" rejected the password for user "username". Enter your password again or cancel.
In Mail on an iOS device Cannot Get Mail: The connection to the server "" failed.
iDisk Syncing File Sync: iDisk syncing is currently unavailable. Please try again later.
iDisk in Finder

There was a problem connecting to the server "". Contact your system administrator for more information.

Your iDisk is unavailable. Make sure you are logged in to your MobileMe account, and then try again to access your iDisk

iWeb publishing Sign In
Gallery on an iOS device Couldn't Sign In: This item is temporarily unavailable. Try again or contact MobileMe Support.
iDisk on an iOS device Unexpected Error: DATE TIME An unexpected error occurred (-100).
Calendar in iCal on a Mac The server is currently unable to handle the connection due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server.
Calendar on iOS Events appear to be created, edited, or deleted, but the changes do not sync with other devices and computers. 

Note: You may encounter other alert messages when trying to use MobileMe features with other apps.
