Connect AirPods to Apple Vision Pro

If you already have AirPods that you've paired with another Apple device — and if you're signed in to the same Apple Account on that device and Apple Vision Pro — your Apple Vision Pro connects automatically to your AirPods.

Just put your AirPods in your ears, and a notification tells you that your AirPods are connected. If your AirPods are playing audio from another device, you're asked if you want to connect your AirPods to Apple Vision Pro when you put it on.

Switch to your AirPods manually

  1. Open Control Center.

  2. In the left-hand section, tap the AirPlay button.

  3. In the Now Playing window that appears, select your AirPods.

  1. With your AirPods in the charging case, open the lid.

  2. Do the following, depending on your device:

    • For AirPods Pro 3, AirPods 4 (both models), and AirPods 5 (both models), double-tap the front of the case until the status light flashes white.

    • For all other models, press and hold the setup button on the back of the case until the status light flashes white.

  3. In your Apple Vision Pro, open Settings, then tap Bluetooth.

  4. When your AirPods appear in the list of Bluetooth devices, select them.

  4. Customize the settings that are available for your AirPods model.

To see the full range of settings available for AirPods on Apple Vision Pro, open Settings, then tap your AirPods in the left-hand section..

You can adjust volume using the Digital Crown on the Apple Vision Pro or the volume control that's built in to your AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, or AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case.

Connect Beats and other headphones to Apple Vision Pro

Some models of Beats headphones connect to your Apple Vision Pro automatically if you've already paired the Beats with another Apple device that's signed in to the same Apple Account as your Vision Pro.

If your Beats don't connect automatically, follow these steps:

  1. Follow the instructions that came with the headphones to put them in discovery mode.

  2. On Apple Vision Pro, open Settings, tap Bluetooth, make sure Bluetooth is on, then tap the name of the headphones that you want to connect.

If you have Beats Studio Pro headphones and they don't appear in the Bluetooth section of Settings, you can connect to them in Accessibility. Open Settings, tap Accessibility, then tap Hearing Devices. In this section of Settings, you can also connect to many third-party Bluetooth headphones and supported hearing devices.
