How to turn repeat on or off in the Apple Music app

  1. Tap the player at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Tap Up Next.

  3. Tap the Repeat button to:

    • Repeat All

    • Repeat Song

    • Repeat Off

How to turn shuffle on or off in the Apple Music app

  1. Tap the player at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Tap Up Next.

  3. Tap the Shuffle button to:

    • Turn Shuffle On

    • Turn Shuffle Off

If you can't turn shuffle or repeat on or off in the Apple Music app

If you're currently in your Autoplay queue, the Repeat and Shuffle buttons are inactive. You can't repeat or shuffle songs in your Autoplay queue. If you're playing music on repeat, you won't see your Autoplay queue until you turn off repeat.
