About AppleCare Services included in a third-party device protection plan

When you buy an Apple device from a participating vendor, you might be offered a device protection plan that includes AppleCare Services.

What's included with AppleCare Services

With a plan that includes AppleCare Services, you can get service and support directly from Apple experts.

Accidental damage coverage

Most device protection plans that include AppleCare Services include coverage for accidental damage. Accidental Damage means physical damage from handling due to unexpected and unintentional events, such as from dropping your device or liquid damage. You can get service for your device at Apple Stores and Apple Authorized Service Providers. Repairs are made by certified technicians using genuine Apple parts.

Support from Apple experts

With AppleCare Services, you'll have priority access to Apple experts by chat, phone, or using the Apple Support app with your iPhone or iPad. Apple experts can help troubleshoot issues with your Apple device, the operating system, and Apple-branded apps on your device.

Your plan might offer additional services, such as coverage for lost or stolen devices. Check with your mobile carrier or reseller for more information.
