Use single sign-on with your iOS device, Apple TV 4K, or Apple TV (4th generation)

Sign in to your TV provider on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV. Then enjoy instant access to supported video apps that your pay TV subscription includes.

This feature is available in the United States only.

Sign in to single sign-on

You can sign into single sign-on in Settings or the first time you use a supported app. After you sign in, any other supported app automatically signs you in so you don't need to enter your information again.

Sign in from your Apple TV


You can sign in with only one TV provider at a time. Here's how:

  1. Make sure that you have the latest version of tvOS.
  2. Go to Settings > Accounts > TV Provider, and select Sign In.
  3. Search for your TV provider* and select it.
  4. Select the email you use for your TV provider account. If it isn't listed, select Enter New and enter your account information. If you don’t know your account email or password, contact your TV provider.
  5. Enter your password, then select Sign In.

*If your TV provider supports single sign-on, then you'll be prompted to enter your username and password for your TV provider. If your TV provider doesn't support single sign-on, your TV provider is saved so you don’t have to select it again, but you’ll still need to sign in to each app with your TV provider account information.

Sign in from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

You can sign in with only one TV provider at a time. Here's how:

  1. Make sure that you have the latest version of iOS.
  2. Go to Settings > TV Provider.
  3. Search for your TV provider* and select it.
  4. Enter your TV provider account information. If you aren’t sure, tap Forgot ID | Forgot Password.
  5. After you enter your TV provider account information, tap Sign In.

*If your TV provider supports single sign-on, then you'll be prompted to enter your username and password for your TV provider. If your TV provider doesn't support single sign-on, your TV provider is saved so you don’t have to select it again, but you’ll still need to sign in to each app with your TV provider account information.

Change or sign out of your TV provider

If you change TV providers, you can remove your current single sign-on account information or set up a different one. Here's how:

  1. On Apple TV, go to Settings > Account > TV provider. On iOS, go to Settings > TV Provider.
  2. Click or tap your the current TV provider.
  3. Click or tap on Remove TV Provider.
  4. Search for your new TV provider, then follow the steps to sign in.
