How to turn on Find My on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac
Learn how to turn on Find My so you can locate a lost Apple device or an item — such as your paired AirPods, Apple Watch, or a personal item with an AirTag attached.
Turn on Find My for your iPhone or iPad
Open the Settings app.
Tap your name, then tap Find My.
Tap Find My [device], then turn on Find My [device].

To see your device even when it's offline, turn on Find My network.* To have the location of your device sent to Apple when the battery is low, turn on Send Last Location.
Add your AirPods or Apple Watch to Find My
To add your AirPods or Apple Watch to Find My, the item needs to be paired with your iPhone or iPad and Find My needs to be enabled on your device. To make sure that you can find your devices even if they're powered off or disconnected, check that Find My network is turned on.
AirPods, AirPods Pro, or AirPods Max
Make sure that your AirPods are connected to your iPhone or iPad. You might need to open the case or wear at least one AirPod.
On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app, then tap Bluetooth.
Tap next to your device in the list.
Scroll down to Find My network.
Make sure that Find My network is turned on.
You can add these AirPods models to the Find My network: AirPods 3, AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), AirPods Pro (all models), and AirPods Max.

Apple Watch
On your Apple Watch, open Settings.
Tap your name, then scroll down until you see your Apple Watch.
Tap your watch name, then tap Find My Watch.
Make sure that Find My network is turned on.

Turn on Find My for your Mac
From the Apple menu , choose System Settings.
Click your name, then click iCloud.
Click See All.

Scroll down, then click Find My Mac.

Click Turn On. If asked, enter your Apple Account password. Click Turn On, then click Allow when asked to allow Find My Mac to use the location of your Mac.
To locate your lost device on a map, make sure that you turned on Location Services for Find My.

You can keep track of personal items — like keys or a backpack — by attaching an AirTag. You can also add other compatible Find My network accessories.
