Use multiple screen resolutions in Windows on your MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)

By default, Windows 8 uses the 2880 x 1800 resolution in Boot Camp on your MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015). You can use additional resolutions by applying software updates.

The MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) supports a screen resolution of 2880 x 1800 in Windows 8. To use other resolutions and obtain additional resources, follow these steps:

  1. Install the Windows 8.1 free upgrade from Microsoft.
  2. Then, install or repair your Boot Camp drivers.
