Register your AppleCare plan

If you bought an AppleCare plan for your Apple device, follow these steps to see if your plan is registered. If your plan isn't registered, learn what to do.

Find out if your AppleCare plan is registered

First, sign in with your Apple ID and password.

If you see your plan, that means it’s registered. When you buy an AppleCare Protection Plan or AppleCare+ from Apple or certain resellers at the same time that you buy your device, we automatically register it for you.

If you don't see one of your AppleCare plans, you need to register it. Click "Register a new product."

When you register your AppleCare Protection Plan, Apple will have your device, coverage information, and personal contact information on file. So when you contact Apple for service or support, we can access your information and address your issue.

If you don't know some of your Agreement Information, like your registration number, learn how to find it. If you can't register your AppleCare Protection Plan or you don't see it listed under your AppleCare Agreements, learn what to do.

Check the coverage of your Apple device or accessory

If you don't have an AppleCare plan, but want to know what kind of coverage your Apple device has, you can check your coverage online. Go to the Check Coverage page and enter the serial number.
