The unedited image appears in 3rd party apps
When you open your edited picture from a third-party app, you may see the original (unedited) version of the image instead (even if the thumbnail shows the edited image in the iOS image picker).
To open the edited picture from the third-party app, save a copy of the edited image to your Camera Roll in iPhoto:
- 

- Tap the photo you want to share to the Camera Roll. To select additional photos, touch and hold the thumbnails, or you can adjust your selection in step 3. 

- Tap the Share icon and select Camera Roll. 

- Follow the prompts to send your current selection to the Camera Roll, or adjust your selection by tapping All or Choose Photos. 

The unedited image appears when you email the edited image
When you share your edited image from the Photos app using email, you may see the original (unedited) version of the image instead.
To share the edited image, you can either share it directly from iPhoto or save a new version of the image to your Camera Roll. You can then share this new image from the Photos app.
To save the edited version of your photo to your Camera Roll in iPhoto:
- 

- Tap the photo you want to share to the Camera Roll. To select additional photos, touch and hold the thumbnails, or you can adjust your selection in step 3. 

- Tap the Share icon and select Camera Roll. 

- Follow the prompts to send your current selection to the Camera Roll, or adjust your selection by tapping All or Choose Photos.
