Aperture 3.3: Some images appear to be blank in the Viewer after rotating photos in iPhoto

After you use iPhoto to work with a library created in Aperture, photos that have been rotated using iPhoto may appear blank in the Viewer when you open the library in Aperture again.

This is a known issue with photos in Aperture libraries that have been rotated with iPhoto. To resolve the issue: 

  1. Select the affected photos.
  2. Right-click or Control-click one of the selected photos.
  3. Press the Option key and choose Generate Previews from the contextual menu.
