Final Cut Pro X, Motion 5, Compressor 4: Unable to upload to YouTube using Gmail account

In Final Cut Pro X and Motion 5 you can upload videos to YouTube by choosing Share > YouTube, and in Compressor 4 you can use the "Publish to YouTube" template to upload to YouTube. However, when you try to upload a video to YouTube while signed in with a Gmail account, an alert message might appear stating: "NoLinkedYouTubeAccount."
To successfully share to YouTube using a Gmail account, be sure to first create a channel in your YouTube account when signed in with your Gmail account. For information on creating a channel on YouTube, visit http://support.google.com/youtube/.
