To disable this notification:
On Windows XP
- 
	
- Connect your device to the computer. 
	
- From the Start menu, choose Control Panel. 
	
- In Control Panel, open Printers and Other Hardware (if the Control Panel is in Classic View, skip to the next step). 
	
- Open Scanners and Cameras. 
	
- In the Scanners and Cameras window, right-click on the Apple iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and choose Properties. 
	
- Click the Events tab. 
	
- On the Select an event pop-up menu, choose Camera Connected and then select "Take no action" in the Actions area.

	

	 - Click OK. 

On Windows Vista or Windows 7
- 
	
- Connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to the computer. 
	
- From the Start menu, choose Control Panel. 
	
- Choose Hardware and Sound. 
	
- Choose AutoPlay. 
	
- Scroll down to the section labeled Devices. You should see your device listed here (iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch). 
	
- Choose Take no action from the device pop-up menu.

	

	 - Click Save. 

On Windows 8
- 
	
- Connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to the computer. 
	
- Move the cursor to the upper-right corner. 
	
- Click the magnifying glass. 
	
- Type
Control Panel
and press Return. 
	 - Choose Hardware and Sound. 
	
- Choose AutoPlay. 
	
- Scroll down to the section labeled Devices. You should see your device listed here (iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch). 
	
- Choose Take no action from the device pop-up menu.

	

	 - Click Save.

This will disable the automatic notification that a digital imaging device has been connected each time the device is connected to the computer. You can re-enable the Scanner and Camera Wizard at any time by returning to this Control Panel and choosing the desired action for the "Start this program" option.
