When you buy the HD version of a movie with iTunes Extras, you get special features along with your movie. The special features might include photo galleries, deleted scenes, exclusive interviews, or behind-the-scenes footage. Special features vary by title.
Movies with iTunes Extras have this badge on the item's product page on the iTunes Store. iTunes Extras aren't available with movie rentals.
What you need
To watch iTunes Extras, make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes, iOS, OS X, and tvOS. You also need an active Internet connection. (Extras won't appear if you're connected only to a cellular network.)
Watch iTunes Extras
If you've bought an HD movie that includes iTunes Extras, here's how to watch them on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, or Apple TV.
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, tap the Videos app, tap your movie, then tap Play. If you're connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi, the Extras menu appears at the bottom of the screen.
Mac or PC
Open iTunes and go to the Movies section in your iTunes library. Double-click your movie. If you're connected to the Internet, the Extras menu appears. Otherwise, it's skipped and the movie plays immediately (if you've already downloaded it).
Apple TV
On your Apple TV, select Movies, then select the movie that you want to watch. On the movie's product page, select Play. If the movie has Extras, you'll see a new screen with the option to watch the Extras.
If new iTunes Extras are added to your movie after you buy it, you'll get them automatically if you use the latest versions of iTunes and Apple TV. There’s no extra charge. If you bought a standard-definition (SD) movie, you can buy the HD version on your Mac or PC to get the iTunes Extras. To see the HD version of a movie and its Extras, you might need to switch your Apple TV from SD video resolution to HD.

Download the original iTunes Extras
If you bought a movie with iTunes Extras before July 10, 2014, you can download the original iTunes Extras on a Mac or PC with iTunes 9 or later using these steps:
- Open iTunes and go to the iTunes Store.
- Under the Quick Links section on the right side of the window, click Purchased.
- Find the movie that you want to download, then click the Download
icon. You can choose to download the movie and its accompanying iTunes Extras. Or you can download only the iTunes Extras if the movie is already downloaded to your library.
If you bought an HD movie before July 10, 2014, it might also have a streaming version of iTunes Extras. If it does, you can play it on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, or Apple TV.
